Increase In Staff Thefts Due To Economic Downturn - CCTV - Keep An Eye On Your Business Even When You're Not There.....

"Employers are hot targets for theft because workers ‘know their systems, controls and weaknesses, and they can bide their time waiting for the right opportunity", says Mark R. Doyle, president of Jack L. Haynes International Inc. source: Wall Street Journal online

It's sad but true to say that when times become tough lots of businesses notice an increase in staff thefts. This may take many forms from staff helping themselves to stock, not putting money in the till or even using the time you pay them to do their own tasks and chores. Hospitality is well known for staff taking liberties but this is now extending to other businesses, too. CCTV may be a tool you wish to employ to curb these petty thefts and deter staff from stealing from your business. With CCTV you can keep an eye on your business even when you're not there.

March 2010

We are proud to support Marie Curie in it's daffodil appeal this March with collection boxes at our Redditch offices and shaking a collecting tin in Redditch town centre on 20th March.  Thank you for your support.

About The Great Daffodil Appeal

Great Daffodil Appeal"The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie Cancer Care’s biggest fundraising campaign which takes place throughout March each year. We want to give everyone the opportunity to donate for a daffodil badge and wear it to show their support of Marie Curie Nurses.

Every donation made to the appeal helps our nurses provide high quality care in patients’ own homes or in one of our hospices. Our services are free to patients, their families and carers but we can only continue to provide them with your support."

NEWS October 2009

Police officers are to be issued with video cameras attached to their helmets to allow them to film vandals, graffiti artists and yobs.

The £1,800 devices, which are the size of a small battery, will be mounted on to officers' traditional headgear.

A tiny monitor, which enables police to view the recorded images, will be attached to their utility belt.

The idea is to allow police to collect evidence of anti-social behaviour which can be used in court.
